New year is coming soon

Hi to all!

I already went the first day at my school, and we were talking about what we will do, and the next week we will have some clues for our project, but I think is free to choose the theme for it, and if so, I already have an idea, related to my NLB blog, about creepypasta, urban legends, ... And also have a design idea.

We also can do other books, apart from the main project, that need to be a book, with nerves, gold and leather. Well, I was sure it will be like this, and yes!
Both red and black colours are leather, the red corners will be tailpieces, vegetable thematic or some like blood drops.

The colours also have meaning: RED define BLOOD , and BLACK is for darkness, and well, all creepy things mostly are dark, and horrible.

Then I think we will have to do some case for the book, but I don't know if it's a obligatory item or not, will see. So if my teacher approves it, It will be my project.
So what's it will be about? As the main title say, about all sort of urban legends, mostly from the internet. And to do it more personal, I want to ilustrate the characters by my own, by doing my own drawings. By creepypasta we also know some deep web stories, one of them is really true, Daisy's destruction, and I also would talk about it, but shortly, describe what it is, and that there are atories that could be real, but we are not sure yet about them, so it's a real creepypastas and they ould be added.

I hope that my teacher will approve it, because if not, I don't know another theme......xD

So I think the next weeks I will post some more details, and will confirm my final idea!

Wow, I am progressing with my new blog, it's about horror: creepypasta, abandoned places, creepy reality...

This summer I was deeply submerged into the horror: I have found so many great games, movies, listened to a lot of creepypastas, ... Just perfect. And learned about the Deep web. If you don't know what it is, those are sites that you can't simply visit on the typical browsers, like chrome or mozilla firefox.

You need a browser called TOR, but to have a possibility to use it well, you need an extremly good connection to the internet.

Ok, I was thinking about the plot for my final work for this last year in my school, and decided to do it about the creepy things, like creepypastas, creepy places, creepy reality... maybe I will do personalized drawings to illustrate some of the villains of the creepypastas.

Horror wallpapers

I love horror theme and I am listening to horror stories, playing horror games, I love thrillers, but a good ones, not that crap about fucking teenagers that finally got caught by a killer, no no. This shit of "the human centipede", and recently I saw that they made a 3rd!!!!! movie......omg... I saw the first one when I had nothing to watch and I decided to watch "this". I don't know why I did that, but it was awful and disgusting, I don't know about the amount of money they spent on that things, but I would ot see the other parts, because its disgusting.... If you wanna wee something disgusting, just search for Eddie Glusking from Outlast: Whistleblower, how this guy "managed" his pregnant "wife"... This is really disgusting, more than human centipede.

Whoa whoa, this paragraph was so damn large, Im sorry...

So, about tha horror things... As I said, I listen to horror stories, creepypasta, horror games, movies... I will watch the channel "Night springs", I saw it in Futurama ( I am a huge fan, but I don't like simpsons, sorry) and it's about horror stories, I need to see this.

My summer

This title sounds like those tales we have written in school about how we spent our summer xD

Well, It could be this story, but summer is not finished yet, so I can not tell this story. So I can say that, my summer at this time, is spent in watching horror movies, I need to search and search for a good one, because most of them are about a teenagers that are searching for an amazing, abandoned (in most cases..) places, where they drink and have sex,..... aaarrrrrgh!!! WHY, WHY??? My question is, there is no good idea anymore? WHY there need to be fucking teenagers , why not to do a good horror movie, with an amazing story, AND my other question is: if they don't have any idea for the movie, why not take this idea from a horror game, because nowadays games are better that movies.

Just, OMG, I prefer to play a good horror game than spend my time to find a good movie.

Now I am playing Alan Wake.

Ok. This game is awsome!!! I mean the story. 

What to tell about the gameplay? Ok: mm...... First, I was so damn hating it, because It is so hard to kill enemies, and more if they are some like 6 and you are only one. They throw axes to you, and they could be 3 at the same time..... Actually, I have deleted the game. But it was my karma: when I have deleted it, I had restarted the computer. After it, I saw a message about the restaring system, because there was an error, so the system returned me the game!! It was not deleted, so I have continued playing it. Thank you, windows error!)))) Thumbs up!

Is a great game, like watching a good movie, It so Stephen King alike (I love S.K.))

So, nowadays I prefer to play a horror game, that watch a horror movie. Because most of them just suck.

Actually this year is kinda awsome and good for me, so many things had happen, I have passed to the next final year at school, I visited my country, have seen my family, I went so many times to the beach and pool, this is great))) 

I hope many good games are coming up, yes, I am waiting to Soma and Outlast 2 (I think Outlast 2 will be realeased next year...) but Soma I think that is realeasing this year.

I was searching for a good game, and found Alan Wake, and this is great)) I hugely recomend it to you if you like Stephen King's alike stories.

Alien: isolation

This game just speak for itself, I think. 

Alien: Isolation, they made this game inspiring by the original movie, and I was so surprised because when I saw the movie the place was IDENTICAL, omg, those doors, floor, machines,.... Just perfect, I was really surprised.

This game is about a crew that navigate in a spaceship, and our main protagonist, a woman called Ripley, need to pass to another ship, but there was an explosion, and must to scroll to another ship to survive, and she need to restore the contact with their crew. So she begin to navigate in this ship, observing different locations. When she do this, she realized that there are some alien.

Well, and so the story begin: she need to open doors, search for different objects and hide from the enemies, that they are not also aliens....

The game is really great!! The graphics are so amazing, they have a little shadow, you know, this type of image, that is slow saturate, but it's great, the faces, textures, places, sounds,.. all is a huge great job!!

I rather play games about aliens, that watch a movie about it. I prefer more horror games than the movies because you can be a part of it, explore it in the first person, and in the movie you just see. 

Playing this game, you find a lot of things, its story is great, and you find a lot of enemies across your. Despite that your principal enemy is an alien (as the title said) there are other who you need to hide from.

I was very surprised about this game, because the game copany that released it, SEGA, I remember it by old games, and this one just surprised me!!!

So, I recomend it to you, I will not tell the final, because I don't know how it finish, I am still playing it, but I hope that soon I will arrive at the final!!

Well, good luck If you will play it! The atmosphere is amazing!!!

About art

I am a big lover of the art, but of currents until surrealism.

Currents post surrealism, in my opinion, changes to bad, and I simply don't like it. People like Jackson Pollock, Picasso, Dalí, and abstract art. Well, I do not hate all of these era, I like Frida Kahlo, who reflex her feelings and emotions of the post tragic accident she had. I like her a lot, and her personal story is just amazing: in it you see how strong this woman was, going through all the pain and uncomfortable conditions and pain she had to deal with. Even though, she didn't gave up and continue to draw and show out her pain.

I should say, that the colours of her paintings are so live and explosives, just in the Mexican style, where the people are simply amazing!

I couln't mantion my beloved piece of art, because even I don't which is it xD I like a lot of masterpieces, and so to mantion ONE as a favourite, I just can't. But I will show you some of the greatest ( in MY opinion) art pieces. Let's go.

1. Hands resist him, by Bill Stoneham, 1972.

Let's talk about this one. I first saw it in a list of "cursed paintings". It inmediatly caught my attention. It was so like a horror movie thing, and then I google up for more information. The story is about the painter as himself painted (the boy) and his sister, who appear as a doll. Appearently they stay in a board near a door, that, if you analized it, is much bigger that the children. 

The story began with this photo, 

of which the autor caught the inspiration. We see Bill with his smaller sister. If we put our attention on the face of the boy, we see that he is not, at all, happy to standing near his sister.

So here the story of the painting began: it tells that Bill, as a child, just hate his sister, and he would wepresent her as a doll without life, something without soul.

So, the story of the painting is: He is standing near a doll, that represent his sister, but Bill don't know that his sister is a thing that want to bring him to the other side of the door, where you can see hands in the dark. 

Many people refer to a infrared pic that show us that the girl is standing with something like a gun, and pointing at the boy. 

Those are just theories, but all can be truth.

The creepiest part of the doll are her eyes: black holes, just deep black holes, ... 

I have watched at this painting many times, and it's really creepy. If you just look at it, you see two children, but the face of the boy is really android, the face is just static, without any expression, well, if only with a deep sight, but you can't really see his eyes.

2. Two Fridas, Frida Kahlo, 1939.

This painting I like the most from this artist. It reflex her two statements in life, when she was in a high class, wearing those beautiful robes, but her heart was damaged, when her husband was cheating on her, and the pain for not haing children. 

The other Frida wear traditional mexican robes of her village, is when she felt better, she really love her country and her village. and where we see that her heart if full and all well, because she was happy.

She has represented her in many aspects of her feelings, you can search for it.

I even has done a work for class, drawning class, to represent a part of a painting we like the most, and I have represented the two hearts of Frida, because the meaning of this piece is really deep and sad.

            

My drawing

Actually, I am drawing Conchita Wurst, at the Vienna Sphere in Barcelona in 2014. The red dress was so elegant and beautiful, the whole set was just amazingly beautiful, and her beauty was charming! Just look at those eyes...

I am a very perfectionist, and I re-drawned this image twice!! Because of the things that happen to me: first I didn't captured the necessary expression, then I had a mess with the ink I put to draw the eyes... And this ink just didn't cool down when I done a innecessary movement with my hand, just...OMFG!!!!! BUT, then I went so carefully I never went before, I swear, and hopefully I done a better drawning, I just love it now!!

Well, now I share with you the first trial of my drawing, It was beautiful, until the very bad thing happened...

When it happened, I was just sitting in my chair and thinking a lot of things, I actually tried to simulate what happened, but It get only worst... Sadly I don't have a photo, and the drawning too, because I throw it to the garbage but believe me, it was awful....

And so, I was thinking about it and I decided to do the same drawing, in a good paper, with paints.. All good, this was avoying A-L-L that could destroy my picture.

It went even better that the first drawing, so I am not sad about it anymore!!

I begun with that

So now it looks like this! I need to finish it, but I am so happy about it right now...!! the beard could be better, but I am not so good drawner to do it perfectly, but I am trying and do practice!!

How to... : Do a cover for your books with fabric

You can buy special fabric for books in stores, but it will be cheaper if you do it by yourself, plus - you have more fabric models to choose! But, not every fabric is a good one, first make small trial with glue, if it fix well the fabric on the paper - so it is a good one! Use a PVA glue, or ask for an advice in storage dedicated to that. Prepare some base to put the glue - so then you can clean it, a piece of wood or marble stone, for example. And a roller. (the one you use to pain the walls)

so, if you have all these things ready, you need just a craft paper ( the brown with stripes, it is cheap too, you can find it in locals that sells paper, and... IKEA :D )

Now, cut the necessary amount of paper and the fabric you need,  put some amount of glue in different parts of your base, with a roller do a homogenic surface, and then put the paper on it, but begin putting the paper by one side, and then fixing it with your hand, in that way the glue will be fixed on the paper, and then, carefully throw back the paper. Put that paper on a surface and then roll up the fabric on the roller and put it carefully on the paper, avoy the bubbles on the surface, fix it with your hand.

Leave it until tomorrow, to get the glue fixed well.

Now you can apply your amazing fabric on the book!

Not everything is so difficult...!

I am refering to bookmaking! There are some types of books that requires a lot of work.. BUT! There are also bookd that you can do at home, I will post some process of a simple book that you can do with simple materials at home!

This type of japanese sewing is simple, but you need to to do the holes for sewing in very equal spaces, so you will need the perfect match. But it's simple

1. You need to cut 4 pieces of cardboard, two of them thin, and other bigger, you can do it a square form or more rectangular, the distance between the two pieces is about 5 mm or more, to let the book open well.

 But I think there are more geometric forms that you can apply, just search it! As you can see, I have cutted a chinese word, "Love", it's only for beauty)) 

Before doing holes for sewing, you need to adjust your papers just like in the photo, and put a little bit of glue, just to make that the pages static, then you need to use an electronic drill, to make the holes, or you can perforate it manually, just ask for a tool in your proper specific storage.

OK, then you need to put your gluded sheets and the cartons together and do pair number of holes, it depend of the size of the book you want to do, and the distance between the holes can be varied, but always a pair number!!! 4, 8, 10....

 Then you need to sew it, it's very simple and fast,

Ok, with a little bit of practice and with those amazing manuals (not mines..) you can do it by yourself! 

You can use a lot of different types of material, fabrics, papers, you can use your old fabrics that you wanna trow away to do the cover. I'll show it in the other post soon!

Have I ever mentioned.... the place where I am studying?

I don't remember if I have mentioned the place where I am releasing my studies. Is a school that have two different "buildings" - in the one hand, a single building with few levels, in the other hand, a set of different buildings that are dedicated to different studies, like illustration, bookmaking, stamps, jewellery, ceramics (pottery and stuff), mural art, ...  It's a big place!

Sometimes the students of different area do a co-working for some works that school have prepared for them. For example, the students of bookmaking can realize works with the students from stamp area, or people from illustration can order to the students from bookmaking to bind their drawnings.

Well, now is the time for explore that big area where I am studiyng!!!

2nd year finished!!

Finally! I have finished the 2nd year of bookmaking and succesfully! I have passed to the final project, that is the final work that will give the the graduation!

Well, It was a difficult year, I have experimented different things of bookmaking, generally with leather, because this was the goal of this year, working and develop your skills with this material, also with parchment.

Despite that we need to work with this materials, we can decorate our books with paper or other materials, but the huge work need to be focused on leather.

Well, now I can breath and tell with some happiness that I done all the things well and now I need to pass the final work and I will be graduated in bookmaking officially.
